When you hear the name "Jack Daniel" What's the first thing that comes to your mind,the drink right.Well for some of the competitor's of last week's PAN AM Jiu-jitsu Tournament,that's the name of the blue belt who took home a 3rd place medal in his division, and 3rd place in the absolute division.You might be thinking 3rd place that's not impressive,well when there is over 100 competitor's in his division and all the people who placed in the absolute division that's incredible.
We meet up with Daniel this past weekend and this Tennessee native talked about the road he took to get where he's at today.It is both inspiring and motivating,how a man can fly to Hawaii with notting more then $100:00 in his pocket and Jiu-Jitsu on his mind,train for little over a year and a half and bring back not one but two medal's is baffling.He will be competing in Oahu's prestiges Triple Crown Jiu-Jitsu Tournament on April 16 and we will be keeping you posted on his performance only on mmaabsolute.com.
