It was another impressive performance for our Hawaii boys who fought on tonights King of the Cage Devastation event at the San Manuel Casino in Highland, California. Starting the night off was Maui 135.lbs Fighter Justin Cook. Unfortunately it was not Justin night, despite his Submission attempts that looked like was sunk in deep, Justin lost by 1st round TKO from strikes, but for all of us that knows Justin, we know he will be back stronger then ever.

Also fighting tonight was fellow Maui Native & Strikeforce Veteran Lolohea Mahe. Mahe took on Gladiator Challenge & KOTC Veteran Rob “The Caveman” Jackson, Unfortunately for Jackson Mahe hit him back to the stone ages winning by 1st round TKO 1:37, improving his record to 7-3. It will be interesting to see who and what will be next for the hard hitting Heavyweight who won all but one of his victories by TKO, and all in the first or second round.

Rounding out the night was 808 Fight Factory’s Lowen Tynanes who was Fighting for the King of the Cage Welterweight Title against 1 on 1 Fight Company’s Kris Armbrister. The Bout was scheduled for a 5×5 minute bout but it took a mere 4:30 for Tynanes to secure the win via Submission and improving his unblemished record to 4-0. Tynanes has been on a roll lately, winning at both ONE FC “also by Submission” and Universal Reality Combat Championships (URCC). Tynanes is quickly becoming Hawaii’s next big thing and with performances like these there wont be a Promotion that looking to sign him to there roster. Welterweight Title Fight 5×5 minute rounds via split decision 48-47 Gomez, 48-47 Aveles, 48-47 Gomez (Gomez was 1.5lbs over and the comission only gave him 15 minutes to cut the weight, not two hours.  If Gomez wins, he wins the title, if he loses, he will be given an automatic rematch because Aveles was over weight.)
