On Friday the UFC announced that they have a verbal agreement with Hawaii’s Max “Blessed” Holloway’s to take on 5-1 Pat Schilling at the Ultimate Fighter Live Final on June 1st in Las Vegas. Holloway suffered his first loss of his career when he took on number 5 ranked Featherweight Fighter in the World Dustin Poirier, who coincidently will be headlining The UFC on Fuel TV 3 Event. Schilling is also looking for his first win in the UFC. Shillings first bout with the UFC was against Daniel Pineda at UFC on FX 1, where he was submitted in the first round via rear-naked choke. Before that fight Schilling was undefeated with a record of 5-0 and stopped all of his opponents in the first round by submission or knock out. As an amateur Schilling had an equally impressive record, going undefeated and stopping all 5 of his opponent’s by Submission or TKO. This is another great test for Holloway who’s professional record stands at 4-1. When we asked Holloway how he feels about his up coming fight Holloway replied “I am so excited and am training hard” Holloway went on to say “I just want to thank my management team, Suckerpunchent,Rylan Lizares, Dustin Kimura, and all the guys at Gracie Technices for all of their help and support. My Wife for all that she does for me and her support, and all of my fans thank you. Mmaabsolute.com would like to take this time to wish Max and his Team the best of luck in his up coming fight. We’re always behind you and know you can do it Max,
