Thats right guys, George St-Pierre will be fighting Nick Diaz in Las Vegas,Super Bowl weekend says UFC President Dana White at the Post UFC 137 Press Conference. Carlos Condit was originally set to face GSP at UFC 137, but because of an injury that GSP sufferd, the bout was pushed back for a later date, but after Nick Diaz beat future Hall of Famer BJ Penn in last nights UFC 137 Main Event, Nick Diaz made some rather harsh statements about Welterweight Champion “GSP” saying his Coach Cesar Gracie, who by the way has been making a lot of Comments himself,saw him walking around the Mandalay Bay Hotel without a limp and it looked like he faked his injury. Diaz went on to say I don’t think his hurt, I think his scared. UFC President Dana White said this is a side that I never seen in GSP,he flipped out.
Diaz who was the Strikeforce Welterweight Champ,stepped down from his Title to fight in the UFC. Before coming to the UFC Diaz went on a Ten fight win strick, beating fighter like Frank Shamrock,Paul Dailey,KJ Noons, and Marius Zaromskis. If there was a fighter who knows how to hype up a fight, it’s Nick Diaz, and from the looks of it the years have only made him better. A date for this fight has not been set yet but when they do, we will be posting it as soon as it’s known.
