Today UFC Welterweight Champion Georges “Rush” St-Pierre was force to step out of his Main Event Bout against number one contender Carlos Condit,  just a week before they were set to lock horns in the Octagon, because of an unexpected knee injury he suffered. GSP is out with an injury!! #oneofthosesdays” moments later White when on to say on his Twitter account “It’s GSP’s knee. We will sit Carlos to wait for GSP. It’s looking so far like he could be ready in a couple months. Still early to tell tho” White also went on to say that it  will be a three round bout instead of a five round.

So what does that mean for UFC 137, Nick Diaz is back in the Main Event when he take’s on two time UFC Champion BJ Penn.If that wasn’t enough Nick’s Head Trainer Cesar Gracie spoke with MMA Fighting.com’s commentator Ariel Helwani today, and Helwani went on his twiiter account and commented Gracie by saying “Don’t be scared, Homie. Let’s make it Five Rounds. This has to be one of the most strangest UFC event in resent history. Originally former Stikeforce Champion Nick Diaz was set to take on St-Pierre in his UFC debut, but when Diaz failed to make a series of appearances to promote there fight, the UFC removed Diaz from the main event, and repaced him with Carlos Condit.
