As reported today by Mmaweekly, the UFC in Hawaii is still going to happen but just not the way they thought. We all knew that there plan’s was to have BJ Penn be there main event at Aloha Stadium, but with BJ losing to Nick Diaz this past October and taking a much needed break from MMA, it look’s like it’s back to the drawing broad for the UFC. I was kind of hoping to go to Hawaii again and do a B.J. (Penn) fight at the Aloha Bowl “Aloha Stadium”, but B.J. wants to take some time off. He’s going to relax for a while,” White revealed about the UFC going to Hawaii, but if you ask me, we have a bunch of talented fighter’s here in Hawaii that could help make a UFC Show in the Aloha State. Not to mention UFC Fighter’s both past and present that Hawaii would love to see in the cage like Brad Tavares, Max Holloway, Chris Leban, Kendall Grove, Eddie Faaloto, & Niko Vitale just to name a few. Also who know’s how BJ would feel about the possibility of Headlining a UFC Card here in Hawaii. BJ might very well be Hawaii’s most recognizable MMA Fighter and the most popular one. Even with his lost to Nick Diaz, that does not take away what he has achieved in his Career, and the amount of love he receives from his Hawaii fan’s. One thing is for certain, the UFC is coming to Hawaii. As far as who will be fighting on that card is still anyone’s guest. Who would you like to see on that card????
